streambox crashes when i try to schedule recordings

I successfully scheduled several recordings using Streambox, then all of a sudden it stopped working -- crashes every time I put in my parameters and click OK. Internet connection is live, no problem with the link, which I tested by doing an immediate recording. I even re-installed Streambox and still get the same problem. What gives?

Streambox seems heavy on GDI resources, and perhaps to leak them. I get the same problem, but it goes away when I reboot.
