Streambox on Linux?

    Hi peeps,

    May be a naive ? but is there a version of Streambox VCR for Linux? I've recently started using Linux (Mandriva LE 2005).

    Thanx for any info.

    There is no version of StreamBox VCR for Linux that I know of.

    MPlayer
    VLC Media Player
    Xine Player with plugins
    ASFRecorder
    GMMS

    These programs can be used for streaming media recording with Linux, but you would probably have to compile them from the source code to work with your version of Linux.

    Thanks for the reply. I did think possibly not. No matter, I'm networking, so I'll stick with Streambox for now on one of the machines. Handy list you provided too, cheers.
