streaming to ps3

    since i upgraded to windows 7 i cant stream movies or music to my ps3 or x box can anyone here help me sort it out

    Have you started up both windows media center and windows media player, and gone through the initial setups?

    Also, I personaly think that using a HTTP server app like Apache works a lot better than any of the dedicated streaming apps. Sure, you have to use the webbrowser to see it, but the movies play just as though you were playing them from the PS3 hard drive...with no quality loss.

    I agree, use PS3 Media Server. Plays more files, doesn't randomly suck up ALL your RAM and CPU like TVersity...can run as a service (auto-start in background)...all around, awesome.
