okay here goes....... I need some help. I'm sure to most of you it'll be basic help and there's probably a simple solution that I'm not seeing, but I'm a tad frustrated and hope that someone can guide me.

Before I go further, I can assure anybody who reads this that I have spent hours and days reading. reading posts, reading guides, reading websites, reading a LOT......I've put the time in. Even if there is a simple solution, I've tried to do my own homework here and I know I am just missing something.

First, with the help of another kind poster (irongiant), I was able to successfully put the movie "hoosiers" on an iPod Nano.... great movie and I was excited to complete the project successfully!
I used DVD Decrypter and then took that decrypted file (I believe it was a VOB file) and using Videora, successfully converted/placed it into iTunes.

My second movie, Narnia, wasn't as successful. The audio was about 3-4 seconds ahead of the video, which made it difficult to watch the movie (obviously).

I've read in many posts that it is wise to have multiple programs for situations such as this. In my reading, I came across tons of stuff about using DVDFab Decrypter, and it is constantly updated (tons of praise on this site). So I decided to download the free version and give it a shot.
The good news is, it successfully decrypted the movie to my hard drive. The bad news is, the file was split into 6 VOB files, around a GIG each. Even though DVD Decrypter had trouble syncing the audio/video which is why I tried DVDFAB, at least it decrypted the movie into 1 giant file, which I could then convert to MP4 with videora. Videora converted these files, but understandably I don't want 6 "parts" to a movie, I'd like them to be together.

So I re-tried to decrypt Narnia with DVDFab, except this time I made it an ISO file. Videora wouldn't even recognize this file.

I'm basically stuck. DVD Decrypter created 1 VOB file for Videora, but I ran into an Audio/video problem. I went to DVDFAB, but it produced separate VOB files and also an ISO file that doesn't appear to work with Videora. Clearly I'm missing a step somewhere.

In summary, here are my questions, any one of which I'm hoping to find help with:

1.Is there a "fix" for DVD Decrypter, so that the audio/video matches up? That way I don't have to worry about DVDFAB.
    2. Is there a way for me to use DVDFAB and have it decrypt my movie as 1 big VOB file (instead of 6 smaller ones)?
    3. Is there a way for Videora to take 6 VOB files and put them together, as it converts them to MP4 for the iPod? I don't think so, but doesn't hurt to ask.
    4. Does Videora not recognize an ISO file, when converting it for an iPod?

Thanks in advance, someday - with lots of practice - I will be able to help others in return.
    !

The audio and video not syncing up is a problem with the conversion program, Videora, not a problem with your disk image [what you got from DVD Decrypter] You just need to try a different conversion program. I'm a bit behind on the times so I'm not sure what to recommend besides Videora.

    Dark Jello,
    thanks for the response!
What I decided to do was re-decrypt the DVD (DVD Decrypter) and then I ran the file through Videora again, and this time it worked (video and audio in sync). Not sure if it was because of the first step or the second step, but either way it worked this time. I'll keep using Videora until I get a problem that can't seem to be fixed, but I'll also be looking into different conversion programs in the meantime.
    thanks again,
    JC
