I keep trying to reboot my pc after uninstalling the secondary adapter. Am I missing something? Do I scroll down and select DMA in available? I don't know why it went to pio, but I open device then hardware then to the controllers it says pio then I uninstall but comes back as PIO?

OK I have read those threads and I have and know how to uninstall the ide controllers then reboot them and they should reinstall with DMA replaced. But nothing is happening. It was working fine untill just about a week ago. when it wou;ld burn and read about 10 X now only 1.8 X I( wonder if the new movies with the encryption and all the retrys have made it go into pio?
