Hi, Can anyone help me out here please. I've just loaded the software for a Eurovox MaxV 2008 which I bought from Iwantabox. Now I am trying to program it but the menu button doesn't call up any fuctions - in fact the only button that works is the standby button. Is there a solution or should I send the whole thing back ? Thanks
dont know about the eurovox but try this link and in the eurovox folder the subfolder documentation should give you some help http://eko.4shared.com/
Hi Celtic 71 . Thanks a lot for replying. I'm not sure about Firmware (ie I didn't think I had to install anything but software then programme the box. What I did was download the software UFL_EUROVOX_MaxV_Kuro_BETA2.exe .as per the instructions supplied as there was no software installed on the box. The programme told me that the download was succesful although I didn't get a 'reset receiver' message. The box did flash DLND when the software was being loaded. I thought that all I had ot do then per the instructions was too press the Menu button and follow the rest of the instructions but pressing the Menu button didn't do anything to the box. Could it be as simple as the remote control is faulty ? The only button that works in the Standby button. Thanks again
ive recently bought a eurovox off fleaby but it turned out to be a clone!! is yours genuine??? i might order another off iwantabox providing they are
Hi Chrisdee, It is genuie alright . Loads of people have bought from Iwantabox and they are fine. My problem was that I ordered one with software installed and the one I got didn't have it installed but I've got that sorted. BubbleCableBoxs.com provided some recently to people I know and software was installed. I think I got my problem sorted with being stuck on standby and I feel a bit stupid now - the instructions didn't say to connect the box to the tv when programming it so i didn't .....hope that's the problem
It is working perfectly . Thanks a lot for your help. I always feel that instructions should state the obvious and this proves it. Hopefully this thread will help others who follow instructions as they are written. Cheers
