I used tmpgenc to encode video and virtualdub for audio and now have 2 files(m2v and mp2) What do I do next to get these onto a DVD. Been reading guides/articles till I can't see straight any more. Thx in advance.......
My point in posting was I have read soooooo many guides, the more I read the more confused I get. Was kinda hoping for a specific course to follow. Thx anyways
That is a very specific guide on how to author those two files into the VOBs necessary for a dvd using IFOedit, did you even read it?
Yes I actually did read it and the very first part goes as such: Open the VTS_01_0.IFO file. I don't have this or any .vob files, only the 2 previosly mentioned. I don't know if this helps, but I started with an .avi file and this is a dvd2dvd guide.
OK this is in that guide but there you go Open IFOedit click author DVD button choose the m2v file as the video choose the mp2 file as the audio (I've never used an mp2 file you might have to convert this to an ac3 file for it to work, also if the source wasn't a DVD the audio might need to be converted to 48Khz) You won't have the cell times if you don't have an ifo but you can make your own vell times file by making a .txt file and entering the frames at which you want a chapter on new lines eg 2334 4535 6754 etc save as celltime.txt put this in the celltimes box choose a save location and click go. When it's done do a get VTS sectors and you will have a DVD ready to burn.
