Stupid newbie question--what's the best Nintendo DS Lite solution (i.e. R4, M3, etc...)

I'm a newbie to this stuff with the NDS Lite...don't know whether to get a R4, or M3, or...you get my problem.

What's the best one to get? I care more about ease of use--I don't mind spending a little bit more to get the easiest, most functional solution.

Also, what's the best and most reliable place to order this stuff from? Thanks .
