Can someone please help me as I'm new to all this and my friend said this is the best place to get good advice. I've got 2 HD's in my PC daisy chained as slave and master to the IDE port. If i was to add a third could I add a SATA drive?? Would this work ok and give me a third drive? Cheers
unless the motherboard has sata on it or get a controller card if available than you are S.O.L. you have 2 ide connectors on your motherboard so can connect 4 ide drives so what do you have so far drives wise
Got 2 CD/DVD drives connected to one IDE and 2 HDs connected to the over. The motherboard has 2 SATA connectors - would I be able to add another HD to one of these SATA connectors as a 2nd slave drive?
