why is it that dvdshrink does a really good job, or seemingly godd job of backing up dvd-9, but as soon as you say, select scene 12 it goes jumpy. the movie plays fine as long as you dont fast forward or mess about with the scenes. am i missing somthing here when backing up the movie or is it the dvd player.

    thanks.

Well what brand/format media are you using and have you tried these backups in any other players?

the media is bulkpaq (i realise it is cheap) and the dvd player is a brand new toshiba sd420-e.
the thing is it only happens on certain movies. thats what is really confusing. and no i havnt yet tried the backup in any other player.

    thanks

The old saying goes... You order Sh*t you eat Sh*t.. lol.. Cheap media is usually the cause of what you are describing but could be a number of things.. Good luck

    Agreed...

DVD Burning is like a sh*t sandwich 1 inch thick..

The more Bread (you spend), the less Sh*t you get!!

Rule 1 - Good Quality Media.
