Stuttering mp3 played in car mp3 player

I recently burned some copies of my mp3 to be played in my car's mp3 player. The cd played but jumpy all the way and the files in my pc played well without any sign of jumping or damage. Can anyone help please. Thanks to you all.

What bit rate did you use? my old car mp3 player had problems with bit rates over 160 try reencoding them at a different rate

 

Thank you berty642, it worked after re-encoding the mp3 files with nero.
