subittle removal

    i have a few divx/xvid films that have subittles on them. i was wondering if there was any way that i can remove them?? id be most gratefull for any help. thanks.

    If they are hardencoded though, then the only way to get rid of them is to crop them off.

    For softsubs, you can just remux and leave them out. Remuxing depends on what you mean by divx/xvid.

    but i can crop them with ympgenc right??
