hi, i have a problem with adding subs to my divx video. i downloaded Ice Age form kazaa and viewed it, there where no problems, my final target was to add some dutch subs to the avi and turn it in mpeg to burn it into VCD. i followed the tutorials on several site wich all say the same: use the subs filter in virtual dub and start serving the frame, then open the frames with TMPGEnc and encode the whole bunch into mpeg. i encounter a problem when i try to add the subs: firstly when i am serving the subs, TMPGEnc doesn't seem to add the subs to the mpeg file. second: only in the first part of the film there is audio then absolute silence.... is there anyone firmilliar with this problem?? i really followed al the steps by the book, and its really driven my crazy that it's going wrong......... please help me.
Are you waiting the program finishing the encoding? If not so, you may have this kind of problem with the sound. With the subs I'm having the same problem as you.
