Hi, I am having trouble with a subtitle I have ripped straight from the DVD source. I have used VobSub Configure to rip the .sub and .idx files from the .ifo file of the main title on the DVD. When I take this into SubtitleEdit it seems to split the subtitle at around 50 mins in then continues from 0 again. As shown: Code: Dialogue: Marked=0,0:52:15.64,0:52:17.45,Default,NTP,0000,0000,0000,!Effect,Hey... Dialogue: Marked=0,0:52:19.00,0:52:21.00,Default,NTP,0000,0000,0000,!Effect,It's gonna be OK. Dialogue: Marked=0,0:52:21.60,0:52:23.81,Default,NTP,0000,0000,0000,!Effect,We're gonna be OK. Dialogue: Marked=0,0:00:12.07,0:00:16.40,Default,NTP,0000,0000,0000,!Effect,Don't be trying anything, Chris.\NWe got men up here all night long. Dialogue: Marked=0,0:00:16.51,0:00:19.20,Default,NTP,0000,0000,0000,!Effect,We're gonna find\Nyour wife and daughter. Dialogue: Marked=0,0:00:19.31,0:00:22.08,Default,NTP,0000,0000,0000,!Effect,We can't have civilians\Nwandering around. Is this something to do with SubtitleEdit as I have checked the .idx file and that is fine. If not would my best solution be to use something like SubRip? Only I have seen the same problem before with that program as well.
Update: I was looking at the original .idx file again and noticed that it goes from VOB ID 1 to 2 at the point where Subtitle Edit starts the subtitle at zero again. The vobs I have only go from VTS_01_1 to VTS_01_6. I'm wondering if that may be the problem. Here is how the .idx looks like: Code: # Vob/Cell ID: 1, 1 (PTS: 0) timestamp: 00:00:25:680, filepos: 000000000 timestamp: 00:00:27:880, filepos: 000001000 . . . # Vob/Cell ID: 2, 1 (PTS: 3144760) timestamp: 00:52:36:560, filepos: 0001a5800 timestamp: 00:52:41:000, filepos: 0001a7800
