i have a film on 2 discs in avi format. its a foreign film. plays brilliant in media player but got it with seperate subtitle folder.which contains 2 files . one is a rar file - 1757kb .which probably wants running thru winrar - i think. the other file is a sfv file which is 1kb. how do i get the subtitles on the film to watch in media player and maybe convert later.

    very grateful for any replys.
    cheers

We suppose the subtitle is in .SRT sformat and synchronized. Otherwise, you'll have so work a little...

To watch them: if the movie is called MOVIE.AVI simply rename it
MOVIE.SRT and play (or better: play the movie with BSPlayer and load the subtitle).

To encode them permamently into a MPEG: read http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/divx_to_vcd.cfm or PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a new guide...
