hi all, i dont know if i didn't do enough searching but if there is an answer to this im sorry for posting. Well my problem is that i downloaded "The Longest Yard" and i converted the dvd to PAL-NTSC with VSO Divxtodvd. After conversion i wanted to test out how to add subtitles which i can turn on and off. i downloaded dvdlab. if someone cud please help me, i wud be glad to follow step by step instructions.
I've got DVD-lab PRO, but as I remember the interfaces are almost exactly the same. OK, go to the Movie 1 window in DVD-lab and click the blue Sub 1 button at the bottom left. A Subtitle window will pop up. Click the Import button near the top, and go find your subtitle file, in .sub, .srt, .ssa, .son, .sst format and click Open. Then set your font size and style and click Generate Subtitle Stream near the bottom right. Save it, and then go to the menu you want the subtitle selections to be on. Click the text button on the left and type whatever you need to (something like "Subtitles ON") and then right click the textbox and select Link>Set Subtitle>Subtitle Stream 1. Then make another textbox (something like "Subtitles OFF") and right click and select Link>Set Subtitle>Subtitle OFF.
