    Hi
    I have a Pioneer DVR-107D

I cannot turn off subtitles on all DVD's and on any software. I have tried turning them off in the options menu's on the software and on the actual DVD itself, but as soon as i play the DVD they come back on automatically. The same thing has happened on windows media player, realplayer and some others.

The DVD's i have bought are from play.com and are the correct region.

I have even tried a different DVD writer and the same thing is happening

I am using Windows XP Pro.

If anyone can help that would be great

    Matt

I uninstalled my ac3 codec and it appeared to fix this.
I'm unsure if it was that or uninstalling & updating my ATI 8500DV drivers but it works fine now!
Hope that helps someone who has experienced the same issue.

    Matt
