Throughout the diagram, I understood everything. However, there's one thing that I don't understand. "Prepare the via point." Prepare the Via point for what? It doesn't appear to get soldered to anywhere. Is it a must or I don't have to, to get the fix to work correctly or course? Thanks guys.
If I was to wager a complete guess, it'd be the dot in the image in the bottom life corner, under the instructions. The (X) has a corresponding red X on the other images, so it'd make sense. Maybe someone who knows will respond with something more solid.
