I'm starting to lose my mind trying to burn a dvd movie onto disk. I keep getting failed errors and after trying different things like uninstalling nero, reinstalling nero, defragging my hdd, scanning with security programs and even hoovering the dust from my pc I tried again to be alerted that it had been successful but when I ran the disk afterwards, it was still a blank disk!!?? Here is my log of it: 1C82-A0K5-19E5-MAAX-400E-0568-**** Windows XP 5.1 IA32 WinAspi: - NT-SPTI used Nero Version: 7.9.6.0 Internal Version: 7, 9, 6, 0 (Nero Express) Recorder: <DVDRW IDE H16X> Version: B02V - HA 1 TA 1 - 7.9.6.0 Adapter driver: <IDE> HA 1 Drive buffer : 2048kB Bus Type : default (0) -> ATAPI, detected: ? I need help badly !!! I Have Nero 8 and everytime i burn off something it loses the video portion of the file ... i burnt off a movie and it plays fine but there's no picture ... and quite honestly it's pissing me off big time !!! i thought my burner was messed up but i burnt off a data disc using a video and it worked ... weird !!! only problem is i can't create chapters if i burn it off on a data disc ... anyone got some solutions ?
i am trying to burn a pay per view thats HD and it keeps fuckin up !!! the video don't burn but the audio does ... and i dunno why ...
-does this pay per view have any encrytion init? -have you done one of these files succesfully before? -what codec packs have you installed? -are you trying to convert HD to dvd files of vob/ifo/bup?
ok i have burnt it off before as a data disc and it was fine ... but when i went to burn it as a dvd it messed up ... yes i am tryin to convert HD to DVD and it has worked for me in the past ...
I changed the blank media and now my issue has stopped. I'm using Verbatim discs instead of memorex for anyone who has had the same problem that I had.
