I assume you are in EU or Australasia as you are burning a PAL disk (North America is NTSC).
Does the disk play ok on the PC?

It seems to be the consensus that the only consistently reliable DL disks are Verbatim brand DVD+R (you are using Ritek) and they should be burned using ImgBurn.

No, im just a ding dong... I live in Texas.. and am using Memorex Double Layer DVD+R's. Do you think using PAL is my problem? Although the guide says use NTSC, the picture showed the PAL box checked off. I'm a big dummy.

If you live in NA, ConvertX should be set for NTSC (not PAL or Automatic) - but even so, the burned disk should play on the PC - it doesn't care about the different video standard.

I'll be sure to change to NTSC, but that doesnt solve my problem. Is there are problem in the string? The DVD does play on my pc.
    Thanks

The output files from ConvertX are often saved to a folder or an .ISO image.
If the files play ok on the PC, then consider burning that folder using ImgBurn (my first post has the link to the guide).
