    Hello.
All of a sudden yesterday, my Pioneer DVDR-110D burner decided it wouldn't burn anything - anything at all.
    Data, music, nothing will burn.
I've tried using both Nero and Prassi ONES (both of which worked flawlessly until yesterday) and both CD-R and CD-RW Verbatim Super Azo discs, which have never failed me before.
The burner is using the latest firmware and I'm running XP Pro with SP2 and all latest updates/patches.
The computer is spyware and virus-free, and all diagnostics I've tried so far tell me the unit is working properly.
Both software programs fail to simulate or write.
Prassi ONES gives me 'Er: 209 - Disk physical error', while Nero coughs up 'Error Reading Data'.
And to make things worse, when ONES fails it needs to close and locks up the burner tray, and I have to restart Windows to get the disc out.
In desperation, I tried an XP repair install and re-downloaded and applied updates etc etc.
    That made no difference.
I've even slowed down the burning speed to the lowest possible in both Nero and ONES. You guessed it - no dice.
This has never happened to me before. The machine and the burner are only a couple of months old, and I have to admit that short of a format and reinstall, I'm basically at my wits' end.
I'll post the Nero error log to see if anyone can offer any suggestions.
    Thanx for any anticipated help.
    scoopyx.

    Try burning track-at-once not disc-at-once

    Hey.
Tried that, in fact I hardly ever use track-at-once.
But the problem seems to have been fixed by a full format and reinstall of XP.
    Thanx.
