I myself would never bother with direct tv but my pops decided to. I'm looking for cheap ways to add another receiver. I recently inquired about getting another one thinking it would just be another 5 bucks a month but it seems these guys want to get over any way they can. So the only other alternative I found was buying a box from someone who is licensed to sell direct tv receivers and hook it up myself. Its still a bit expensive so I'm looking for any other suggestions that I might not be aware of. I already have wireless video connections going in the house I don't think I want to go that route.
