I know, there are even people who claim that if you update your wii via the internetz before booting the (brickblocked) smash backup, that the game will work just fine.

Ok people just so you know, today i went with my modchip installer and he updated my chip to YAOSM, and Brawl works great both in a japanese wii and an american YAYYYYYY

 

Grats. Wanna give me your Brawl code so we can play online?

 

Gr... About 16 of the files I downloaded are corrupted.

Sorry to repeat the question but dont you need 1.9g to play SMG? i can play SMG perfectly..ill try the 1.9g disc again just to make sure

 

So I guess this was all caused by disc read errors?

As for the original having issues, i beleive this is the case with all DL media on dusty wii's at this point?

Maybe all testers were heavy smokers Better ship those wii's back to nintendo for a free cleaning

I wonder if nintendo will release some more free goodies! Disc slot tobacco/dust screen!

 

Has anyone tried the new BrickBlocker 1.3R2 on the DL DVD9 backup to see if it works? I am going out to buy some DL DVD's right now and I'll test it once I get it, but I was just curious if anyone had tried it yet.

 

Ok, I have a big problem.
I have brawl (the DVD5 version single layer) and a wii with d2ckey (region verride)
But i still can't play brawl, so what should I do? I can play mario galaxy and other games, but when I try to play brawl it doesn't read the disc! why is that? could some one make a minitutorial or something for the d2ckey? please... I really need help, I'm so dessespered... I can this anymore, If I don't play brawl today I'm gonna cry! T__T

WIll I get multiple channels if my Wii is Japanese and I'm running a Japanese backup?

 

I regionfrii and brickblocked the iso.

I put it in and Brawl showed up on the channel. It didn't ask to update, but its just a black screen after you click on the channel.

Im using Wiikey and Taiyo Yunden DVD-R, any suggestions?

 

are the tmd links of ssbb dvd5 or dvd9?
also, the dvd9 version, do you have to brickblock it?

 

If anyone can help a noob...

If I have the DVD9 version, without doing the whole DVD5 discswap scenario will it work?

In other words, what do I have to do to get the dual layer version to run on its own... is it possible?

Yeah! kinda weird but it happends, i got a jap wii and it dupped channels :S
