apon further searching and reading, supposedly the supercard minisd will work fine with the dslite. one question about the supercard firmware. what does it actually update? i downloaded the update firmware from their site and installed it when i got my original ds. does it update to the ds or the supercard?... meaning, when i use my supercard in the dslite that im going to purchase, do i have to update firmware again, or can i just plug and play?
update only applies to the supercard card SD or CF. It will never touch your DS at all. When you purchase a new supercard SD, chances are you will have to do the firmware update to it prior using it. Also, you will need to use the latest version of its software too. cheers
thanks. so just to doublecheck(dont wanna fusk anything up). since my super minisd is already updated since i did it when i got my ds... all i have to do is, plug in the maxmedia launcher and supercard into the dslite and it will be ready to go? not sure why, but a friend of mine told me that the supercard minisd isnt compatible with the dslite. but im sure you guys would know alot more than he does.
