I haven't recieved half of an order of 100 clear cd cases from them and it has been over 2 months or more since I first ordered it from them.And this is like the 3rd time I had problems with these people.First it was broken jewel cases (twice) then they just forgot to put 50 of my 100 jewel cases in the box when they were packing my order.Now how the hell does someone screw up and only pack 50 when it says right on the order form 100 pulled!And why if they are such a reputable company couldn't they just send me the other 50 cases,are they worried about 10$ worth of cd cases making them go broke?Thats why I started this thread because SUPERMEDIASTORE.COM SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! AND YOU WILL START TO SEE MORE AND MORE PEOLPE SHOW UP IN THIS THREAD WITH MORE COMPLAINTS JUST YOU WATCH!!!
I love supermediastore.com Great prices! Fast Delivery (I got my orders in 2 days with UPS Ground Shipping) Even great packaging. I know ur tired of hearing this but, I'm sorry u had problems with them as well. I've had 100% error-free orders/shipments from them. I would probably feel the same as you if I were in your shoes, though. Meritline.com is also a great company to order from ESPECIALLY if you need ink for your Epson R200 or R300!!
I have been using Supermedia for a long time now and have not had any problems with them. I purchased two Benq burners a while ago and one of them was a piece of crap. It couldn't provide a good burn no matter what. Used Ty's and Verbs only and not one good burn. The other burner worked fine. Sent the bad one back as they had somebody check it out and then emailed me that they would take it back and I had no problem shipping it back to them for credit if I wanted or a refund. Don't know why your having such a problem with them. I must say, though, judging by the responses here that it doesn't appear many share your bad business dealings with them.
I do work for a shipping company and they are handled many time after they leave the place you ordered them from. Accidents do happen (no excuses), but I would bet it did happen after it left their (SuperMedia)place. I have had over 1,000 jewel cases delivered to me and have had 4 broken. I guess I'm just lucky.
I buy from Supermediastore and Meritline and never had a problem with shipping or bad or broken merchandise! I guess I'm lucky! LOL
The broken cd cases are not what i was pissed about although it did piss me off when it happened.I had let that go and what has made me say that they suck is the fact that I ordered and paid for and paid shipping on 100 clear cd cases not 50 and 50 is all they sent me and then they refused to send me the other 50.It was all one box so there is no way ups lost anything this time sms.com only put 50 in the box when it was supposed to be 100.I sent them emails asking them to please ship me the rest of my order and they wouldn't.They offered to give me a 10$ credit but why should I have to place another order just to get what i already paid for and paid shipping on.If they were as reputable as people say they are they wouldn't have had a problem sending me 10$ worth of cd cases.THEY SUCK!!!!!
ok..... I think this is the second thread about broken cd cases and also the second thread on supermediastore or meritline about not sending the full order and why they won't send the rest of the order. My guess is their proffit margine is slim and if they resend the rest and lose out on shipping again..... it's business and business usually sucks and don't expect business to do what you want them to do just cause you want them to do it! Get over it and move on! take your credit ........ go to your nearest Office Depot or Office Max or Buy Rite or Best Buy or CompUSA or any other store that might be near you and look for sales and don't ever buy online again because they SUCKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!! AND YOU CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! Yes we heard you! give it up! the previous views are not related to my own and I discount all that was written!
you dont have to read this thread I'mahoe so why are you if you are so sick of hearing it?This isn't the only forum i'm posting in about them i'm posting in a dozen or more so far and hopefully as many people as possible won't do business with them.They can kiss my ass!!!And you are right the cheap pricks can't afford to spend a few dollars to ship the rest of my stuff and thats why I say they SUCK!!! and they basically ripped me off for 50 cd cases.
IHoe, im not sure why your offended or why your coming down on this guy. If I ordered anything, from any online retailer, and received the service he did by getting half of the order and offered a credit for the rest, I too would be HIGHLY upset! If that is the kind of business they do, I will not buy from them. Actually I want to thank the poster for bringing this to my attention, as I was about to order some items. No longer.
first off if they offered you a credit, then they didnt really screw you, youre just too lazy to place a new order and realize theyre putting forth the effort to satisfy a seemingly irritated customer, and expect them to bend over backwards to please you when anyone and their mother could email them "claiming" to only have recieved a partial package and demand to be sent the rest..now im not accusing you of anything but do you really think they dont deal with plenty of false claims like that as it is and to rush out an order whenever something comes along wouldnt be very wise. for lack of better expression "shit happens" and you should have recognized their atempt to make things right instead of getting pissy about them not going further, any lower standard company couldve just as easily said "not my problem" but they tried so get over yourself and accept their credit, learn no one is perfect, and move on..or go cry somewhere else and quit trying to bring down a fairly good company who has very many pleased customers here already...but thanks for sharing
But can't you see my point i didn't want to place another order and have to spend more money just to get something i'd already paid for.They can't hold someone hostage to placing another order just to get items that was their fault were missing.It wasn't the first time i had problems with orders from them in fact out of 5-10 times i ordered from them almost half the orders were messed up in one way or another.The ones that there was a chance that it was ups's fault i let go but then i ordered a large order and it all came in one box so it was a stupid mistake of theirs that someone "forgot" to put 50 of 100 cd cases in the box with the rest of the stuff.I was a regular customer for a while so i think they know i wasn't trying to scam them for a measly ten dollars worth of cd cases.And i called them on the phone personally as soon as i opened the box and saw what was missing and they said they would take care of it.but then the story changed and all they wanted to do was give me a ten dollar credit.It would cost me twice that on buying something else and shipping on it just to collect a ten dollar credit.The fact is they are a cheap company that is too cheap to pay for their own mistake and instead want to make more money off of it.I don't think so, i'm not that stupid to go along with that.And its not even the 10$ worth of stuff i'm even worried about its their bad business practice.its they who are too lazy to just take care of business and keep customers happy.
ThyDemise, i dont understand your way of thinking. Or anyone elses that doesnt agree with honyak45. I think, if this happened to you, you would act the same way as honyak45. Calling him/her lazy is absurd. If I was shorted on an order and recieved a credit id be pissed. No credit should have been given unless it was a backordered item. Reorder? Why should he have to reorder which means he pays shipping, again? The part where you said"any lower standard company couldve just as easily said "not my problem" is BS. Any company who says that is itching for a potential lawsuit and complaints with the BBB. As far as potential false claims goes, just a little hint, the customer is always right. We are talking 50 CD cases. Not exactly gold here. They should have sent the cases just to keep the customer happy, at the same time promoting good customer service. This may be a good company, but they sure dropped the ball here from a customer service standpoint.
Finally!! Someone who understands where i'm coming from and has enough intelligence to understand that as he said "they dropped the ball this time".That is exactly how I felt as I had intended to do business with them even after the two orders i recieved with 25 out of 100 cd cases smashed.I only wanted what I had already paid for and like Pahick said I already paid shipping on.I really couldn't believe that they were gonna be that cheap to refuse to send me 10$ worth of cd cases.And that is why I started this thread only after realizing that they definitely were refusing to send me the rest of my stuff.Thank you pahick for understanding where i'm coming from.And as for the rest of you who are on the side of SMS.COM I hope you go ahead and keep ordering from them until they do something like this to you too.Even though half of you who said i was being lazy or was complaining over nothing have never ordered a damn thing from them.

i would be mad too if they messed up my order, and i would be pissed if they didnt offer me a credit of any kind, but in this case they did so all i was trying to say is ya dont think youre being too irrational in this case? ppl do make errors and if you hold it against every company that has one time or another made a mistake then youll eventually have no on to shop from..and i will continue to buy from them until the day comes when i am in your place, and most likely, i will continue until it happens again because of the mass amount of good service ive got from them and the reliability (unless of course it was a major order) i do appreciate you bringing this concern to attention, its a good thing to know and i will keep it in mind if i ever order jewel cases from them. i only posted because i, along with many other, never had problems with them and felt the need to back em up cuz one bad sale doenst make a bad company..i guess if it was my few dollars that got wasted maybe id be more irrate
I dont think i am being too irrational at all.All I wanted them to do is send me the rest of my order not give me a credit so i'd have to pay shipping again.And they knew I wasn't trying to scam them out of 10$ because when they sent me all the broken cd cases I told them to never mind when they offered to credit me for the broken ones.And yes people make mistakes but when it comes to business they should have had no problem fixing the mistake and sending out the measly 50 cases.They are now losing business that I would have brought them if they hadn't done this.I go through a lot of blank cd's and dvd's and dvd cases and cd cases not to mention labels,ink,paper,etc. that I used to order from them so its their loss not mine.I'm out 50 cd cases with a value of about 10$ and they are out 100's of dollars of my business.And i'll stick to my opinion of them "THEY SUCK BIG TIME!!!"
