    OK 2 questions...1-I haved tried using CloneCd but it doesn't recognize my DVD-ROM which is a pioneer dvdrom 1131.12...is there anything that can be done about this? 2-I want to make backups of my dvds with nero..but doesn't let me do this...driving me mad..HELP

    Thanks for answering my 1st question..ok as for the 2nd...I am very VERY new at this..please bear that in mind when you answer...I am trying to rip the dvd with DVD copy plus...then I encode it...(I think I do anyway)..I then go into Nero and try to put it on a cd which I seem to do but it won't play from the CD only from the image file still on my PC..hope this makes sense...

    oops checked out the site you suggested..my CD-r is listed but my dvd rom isn't..say I wanted to copy a vcd if I put it in dvd rom it comes up with message saying dvd not recognized...
