Surround Sound and HD on Android

    I have a five speaker home theatre system that I would like to use with my Android MX3. It's the 4.4.2 version box. Is there a specific cable hook up that I could use to push the sound through the speaker system rather than through the tv?

    Also, is there any way I can improve on the standard def tv programs/movies to make them more hd quality?
