Just imagine one of those plowing through an intersection on a highspeed chase.

Oh man, only in America could anyone think they need one of those!
I mean, most people don't need to take 6000 pounds of glass & steel with them, down to the corner to buy bread & milk.
The ATV pictured in the back of the thing probably gets mileage similar to a European car...
    Yeesh
Good one, Neph :) Where'd ya find that?

My older brother sent me a link to it. A few months ago he found a joke site where they took Kenworth diesels and photoshopped them up to look like huge SUV's. They made it up to look like a real advertisement with links to order forms that had all these hilarious options. We both had a great laugh at the site then yesterday I get an email from him saying "You're not going to believe this but they actually did it".

The site must be busy at the moment because my connection keeps getting refused but here's the link anyway. Be sure to check out the link for the order form!

You live in Phoenix too so you know the idiot drivers here don't even need a cop chasing them to drive like that. I'm not kidding either.

This is exactly why we're in Iraq ... making sure that the terrorists ... oops, I mean oil fields ... are properly taken care of ...

On another note ... oh! crap! everytime another monster piece of SUV hits the pavement, I get a letter from my insurance agent extorting more money outta my butt ...

I think running through intersections on a red light is a sport here in Phoenix.

some times you win...somtimes you loose

I live in Phoenix also. I found out that if you hit an H2 Hummer just right with a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, you can actually total out the H2 and cause it to burst into flames. I also had to go through a few months of physical therapy and I missed a few days of work.

I took a trip recently and was cruising 80 and about 95% of the vehicles that passed me were SUVs. Most passed by like I was standing still.
These people make me laugh. They run to court crying foul because they rolled over when their tire blew out and damned near died, but they were only doing 95 mph when it happened.

Yeah, and the tire had only 20 PSI in it when it blew, LoL

The really sad part of all this is that some of these dimwitted SUV owners that don't maintain their monsters properly kill innocent people. Then when they refuse to accept personal responsibility, they end up with a large settlement from the manufacturer all because the idiot Judges all drive SUVs, and hate large corporations. This is why my insurance goes up on a yearly basis even though I'm working on (knock on a Judge's wooden head) over 15 years of no tickets/accidents.

     My last related rant...
Bringing a lawsuit against a business in the USA nowadays is kind of like playing roulette in Las Vegas ... except the payoff is much better and the odds are more in your favor ...
