SV and EV gone again

    SV and EV boxes down again and not autorolling.

    Just use the UK fixes on all Irish boxes.

    My SV has screwed up again. Data isbeing updated...

    Mutalk; I am not an expert, just a casual user here, but as I know the experts are very busy, will give you some info:

    you will ned to be more specific, what model do you have? Genuine or clone? Where are you Uk or Ireland? If in Ireland, as above suggested by sc0user (who is an expert), try loading the UK fix to see if it helps.

    I'm in Dublin, Ireland, and have a genuine Starview The Box :)



    (BTW, how long till I can post more then once inside 3 minutes? Really annoying when trying to sort this out! :-/)



    EDIT; I just downloaded that .zip file...and now have 2 .BIN files....what do I do now?

    just done my sv1 with uk fix here in dublin and it worked a treat, going to do my box super now will let you know how it goes, thanks scouser

    hi

    i am going to try to flash my box, Its just a starview bot "The box" I have loaded the gtrom v4.00 and i am now a bit unsure what to do.

    I have the cryptstar v.1.4 bin and the thebox_Ireland_H20070705_450eE_api.bin

    what exactly do i do now, help is appreciated

    you need 4.55 and gtrom 4.03 to make it update.

    How do I fix the box though?


    I saw that fixes thread....but what one do I use, and HOW do I use it?

    Please be a little more detailed

    ok first you need a null modem cable. then you need to go to the link and get the file and unzip it it's 4.55 and you use gtrom4.03 and select the 4.55 bin file and press download.

    Lads anybody have a full working image for d box 2 dublin. I know the uk fixes will work but its roms stuff.... need full image to flash with everything on it.. Thanks

    That the cable with two things on either end with little holes? That you get with the box?

    Yeah, have it...

    So I connect what to what, download what to where...I'm completly lost, so I sort of need detailed help! lol

    ok sorry. just so many people here.

    connect the cable to the box and pc.

    download this http://www.4shared.com/file/74677162/ef480456/The_Box_455.html

    you need to unzip it with this pick english http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

    open gtrom when it's unzipped

    select browse on bin file and select the file called thebox...4.55

    then press download and wait but you might need to rescan.
