i have a genuine sv2 the box with the latest 4.57 firmware on it.i have it set to aspect ratio 16:9,but every time i put it in standby or switch the tv off,when i come to turn them back on the picture on the tv comes up in 4:3(wide black side borders) aspect again,anyone know why this is? it does not do it when i switch the dvd player on aspect ratio is fine and comes on 16:9.
Not a major issue then do you press ok after you change the ratio or exit??? Just change it when you turn on>
it must be the tv picking the box up through the scart as 4:3,because i have tried it on another tv again via scart and it picks it up fine as 16:9. strange though how the tv picks the box as 4:3 but picks the dvd player as 16:9,there is no way of setting the tv to 16:9 it finds the aspect ratio automatic,although there is a 16:9 button on the tv remote that works untill you turn it off then its back to 4:3 again! what a pain!!
