I have got problem on both these boxes. SV3 is old one going good for 6 months or so, never had a problem but now I keep losing premier channels. I Update with the new code but it does not store it for long. It store for a while and then again the channel goes dead. Is there anything else I could do or shall I re-flash it. Which rom is better 8.** or 7.*9. At the moment I am using ver 8.**. Now I bought SV4, I have tried both the version of the software. But after little while either the sound goes or picture goes dead on the premier channel. Is this the fault on the box or is it the software. I know its still beta version but it's really annoying not been able to watch all these nice channels. It stays fine if you stick to one channel but if you start flicking through channels then it gets stuck and either i'll loose picture or sound, but not both (sound and picture) at the same time. I am in London T*, but could scan with c*w
If its an old SV3, then flash it with the 6.01. Theres still a glitch with the SV4 firmware, but AFAIK its being worked on.
