Whats the easiest way to convert Mpeg2 SVCD to Mpeg 1 VCD. Tried everything I can think of but without success.
TMPGEnc, simply load the MPEG-2 into TMPGEnc, select VideoCD template and re-encode it. Quality will suck, big time, but it will be in VCD format. And quality-wise, you can't do anything to achieve better quality -- re-encoding already-lossy-compressed video into another lossy-compression format is a BAD idea.
