SVCD burning problem...

    It seems people have had this problem before with the black and white image when burning svcd..well im having that problem when burning a bin file..the video is in black and white and off center..i know my tv supports NTSC could it be the movie file in the bin is in PAL? and my tv doesnt support PAl? So should I just convert the video file to NTSC?? Or could it be another problem?? Thanks for your help

    well i couldnt find my dvd player on the list its a Phillips DVD PLayer 724...I know it supports VCD & SVCD cuz' i've burned them before and they have worked fine..i also extracted the mpeg2 file from thhe bin file and it played fine on my computer...and i burned it with NERo a a SVCD and Nero didnt give me any problems its just when I play it on my DVD player...thanks again

    Ye this problem is too commen, MPEG-2 encoding yes?? i have seen it a lot b4 but still no fix, i will search though!

    no need for help anymore the answer came to me in my dream..how strange..i dreamt i had to change a setting on the DVD player and that was it..i had to change the setting from multi to NTSC..thanks for your help anyways

    Hah..thanks..the mind does work in a mysterious way..i woke up and was like damn thats not going to work but i gave it a shot..and what do you know..it worked..not the exact same way in my dream but pretty close...
