    Hi,

I just want to know the differences between these two formats:

1 - Legacy compatible Format (MPEGAV, ENTRYSVD)

2 - SVCD Standard Compilant Format (MPEG2, ENTRYVCD)

Both are in the "Make Disk" menu in Ulead DVD Workshop but there are no referencies in the manual or help guide.

    Thanks for all,

MPEGAV is standard VCD format, normally VCD 2.0, but there is also VCD 1.1 for really old players.

SVCD is super video cd, usually much better video quality, takes longer to encode than VCD, but in most cases its worth the wait for quality.

you will need to convert your movies to VCD or SVCD format before burning. You can do this with software found here: http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/dvd2vcd_with_smart_dvd2avi_tmpgenc.cfm

    good luck!
