Hi there i have a svcd(mpg) movie split into 2 parts. part 2 plays fine but part 1 gets 2 minutes in then the screen pauses and the time and time slider bar runs really quickly to the end of the file playing no audio or picture. I have deleted all my codecs and re-installed following the guide posted above and i have treid using WMP9 powerDVD and winDVD (all latest versions with all updates installed) I am running an athlon64 3000+ with 512mb ram and a geforce4 5200fx. With windows xp home all service packs and updates installed. The file is running straight from my hard drive. I am stumped as to what could be happening and any help would be greatly appreciated thanks maccaria
oh yeah and ive run Gspot and tried to render it and it says it will play back size: 794Mb STAT: File is .MPEG video pathS) --> Ligos MPEG Splitter --> Ligos MPEG Video Decoder --> Unspecified VFW codec --> (R) 4CC: n.a.
