ive been looking around but cant really seem to find a defenitive answer to this. How would i go about putting say a 3 SVCD movie on to DVD so it could play in a regular DVD player ( without SVCD or VCD capability ) in regular DVD format. Also anyone got a good suggestion on a burning utility for this? thanx for your help!

VCD is easy, we have a guide at

...SVCD wont do it, at least not by specs as SVCD resolution is not within DVD specs (unlike VCD's, which is a valid DVD resolution). Answer is CVD -- exact same as SVCD, but half-D1 resolution (352x480/576). Those clips play on players that support SVCD on CDs and can be put on DVD-/+R/W as well, because they also are DVD-compliant clips.
