svcd won't rewind/fastforward on my standalone dvd

    Hi I burned my svcd mpg with Nero and when I play it on my standalone dvd I can't rewind or fastforward it. Can anyone help me? Thanks

    SVCDs/VCDs cant be fastforwarded or rewound w/o a file named scandata.dat included in them. you can find scandata.dat here : http://www.videohelp.com/scandata.dat

    that should enable any future SVCD/VCDs you make to FF/RR.. Good luck
