SVCDs blur with high motion

    I use smart-ripper, dvd2avi, tmpgenc and nero to make VCDs and SVCDs. I have some blurring I high motion sequences especially with light backgrounds with SVCDs. I use the Highest quality (very slow) video setting in TMPGEnc and 2520 kbits. Otherwise everything is left at default settings. Any ideas?

    do you have it set for 2pass vbr?? This will help this problem...If this does not help, then the motion is too fast for svcd to capture correctly. Remember dvd bit stream is over 6000kbs
