svchost.xe-application error

    have recently been getting screen message on start up of windows xp media center, the instruction at "0x75606eb5" reference memory at "0x00000008", the memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program. When i do so it just will not remove the message.Anyone know of a fix for this. thanks
