Swap in your new harddrive. Power the XBox on with the Slayers Disc in the drive and it should load. Choose the Rebuild Large harddrive option from the menu. When it's done remove the disc and you should have the EvolutionX dash loaded, along with the earlier version of the XBLive dash. Then just FTP your E, X, Y, Z back up folders to your new harddrive. You might not have anything in Y or Z depending on what game saves you have. RustyDog
so i should ftp all those over correct what about my c and my e? should i ftp those because i have saved games on them
mmm the locking HDD thing should me made before or after installed with all files? im interested too :-D but I heard it has to be locked to go Live
no you have to turn the chip off in order to go live if you have a different hard drive than the one it came with your xbox then you have to lock it thats what I heard
You don't need to FTP your C drive back to the new Xbox harddrive since SLayers Installs the dash files for you. If you have game saves then you'll need to FTP your E drive and maybe your X drive depending on which games they are. You should make a back up of the entire original Xbox harddrive to be safe though. If you plan on disabling your chip then the harddrive must be locked. The easiest way is with ConFigMagic Final, also included with Slayers Installer. And you can't go on XBLive with your chip turned on or that Xbox will be banned forever even if you remove the chip. Only if you plan on disabling the chip, say for XBLive. With the chip turned on whether or not the harddrive is locked doesn't matter. RustyDog
