We'll probably need more info to help you. I've never had much luck with dvd decrypter, takes too long. I usually use nero. so are you doing 1 to 1 disc copies or burning .iso's? If it's the second, you need to be sure the burner program is putting the iso onto the disc exactly as-is and not modifying any way. Use a program that has the option "burn disc image or saved project." I don't think just slapping the iso into a data dvd directory works.

Also if you are downloading the isos, you can't be sure they were made correctly (or might be PAL which stinks on an NTSC console).

The surest way is to do a 1 to 1 disc copy of a game you already have in your hands. That way you know the product disc is just like the one you've got. If you just have to burn that not-released japanese game to play it, it's trial and error on the isos.

Well i never download my iso's and burn my discs 1 to 1 and no luck i think the creators of the swap magic discs should go back and do their research.

.... Swap Magic works fine with all of my original backed up games. You need to do your own research on how to backup your games because obviously you're doing something wrong.

Seriously, man. I've been using swap magic for a while with no problems what so ever. Are you using a fat ps2 or a slim? The slim has a bunch of censors that MUST pressed down or the console with register the open lid. Every time the lid opens, it resets the TOC and therefore renders swap magic useless. It could also be that for whatever reason, your console can't read the disc. Old laser, bad burn, etc... It seems to be commonly accepted that backup discs put more stress on the ps2 laser than originals. (tiny errors while burning that don't make it unreadable, but makes it slightly more difficult to read)
