I've burnt about 3 or 4 games and I have tried to get them running but when I press "load program" the laser reader goes right to the far end and keeps clicking, that goes on for about 30 seconds and then it says "not a valid ps2 disc" I had my friend come over with his collection of games and only about 3 or 4 of them worked. I tried about 15. The ones that didnt work still had the same problem. Also there's something wierd about the discs. I have the latest version of the slimline ps2. the satin silver one. I have not tried to use any "good" brand of media such as taiyo yuden yet. I am currently using my crappy immation discs, But I after about 30 attempts to get them booting I should of atleast of had something!! Thank you in advance.
Do what you want, im just saying that when you use crappy media that the slimline cant read or has a hard time reading, it keeps turning up the voltage to the laser and it will fry your laser. As for not being rich, you can get a 100 pack of the best discs around (taiyo yuden) for $30.
I tried loading CDloader with swapmagic but that gives me the same error. I used a sony disc for it too. I don't know what the problem is!
