I swapped my softmods from the crappy SID Splinter Cell V.2.0 to the Krazies Ndure Splinter Cell. I can now boot to either MS dash or Evox, but when I sign in to live my modded maps don't work. I know you don't like cheaters cause I don't either, and yes my modded account is banned, but I could care less. I mod so me and friends can do crazy stuff in custom with new maps and weapons. If anyone can explain as to why I can sign in but the mods don't work, I would appreciate it.
yes they work with the softmod turned on. the way it is set up you have to turn the softmod off to access live, but the modded maps are still on the hard drive. doesn't make sense to me.
you don't have to turn the softmod off. You just cold boot. Which means open the disc tray, put the game in, turn the xbox power off so the disc tray goes back in, then turn the power on so it boots directly into the game.
I can now get on line and when I play a custom game with my friends my mods seem to work but will not kill anyone. I have an smg that shoots stickies but they only do bullet damage what gives? I also have a shotgun that shoots banshee bombs but it only does shotgun damage while I am playing with people on line, but when I play a local MP game they work.
