Sweet deal on DL media

Not sure how you guys missed this great deal on Sony +R DL media but it almost went by withou mention. LINK

 

Are these discs any good? I have never used Sony DL's.

Damn, I didn't bother looking into this deal because I have a pack of Sony DL right next to me that code out as Ritek D01s. They must have switched manufacturers recently... and now I'm out of money in my blank media fund.

 

I'll venture a guess and say those were MIT?

 

The label ring has been removed so I don't have visual confirmation, but if they are Ritek that would of course mean MIT. Oh well, deals come and go. At least I got those 100 verbs for $16 cause of that coupon you linked.

Thanks man those MKM 001s are the real McCoy Verbatim 2.4X+R DL made in Singapore. The very first ones I believe. What on the label can you look for to indicate the Sony's are like yours. Is speed listed and Made in ? country? Foam shaped spindle rings? I may have to go look myself. That's a good price.

Well regardless of what they code out as they are damn good media.I bought myself 8 packs of those Sony DL's and not one of them have failed yet.

 

I checked them out a Best Buy and they were made in Taiwan and 2.4X. I passed, mainly I want the made in Singapore variety. I still have about 35 Verb DL +Rs left and will get more of them when they go on sale and they still have the Verb MIS stacks at my Best Buy. I like the hunt tho.
