I just bought a Samsung T240 as a monitor for my computer. It is 100% HD and it has a HDMI slot, so i went and switched my old Cablevision box for the new HD compatible box which also is HDMI compatible. I could watch the television on my monitor straight from my cable box but what my problem is that i need some program that could enable me to switch from television display(the HDMI from cable box to monitor) to the regular computer display.

    Hi VinnyPooh!

I dont understand your question. Are you saying you want to watch the output from your cable box on your computer monitor?

Is HDMI the only output on your new cable box? If so then you need to find a capture device with HDMI input.

a quick google search gave me:
    http://www.creativevideo.co.uk/public/view_item_cat.php?catalogue_number=blackmagic_intensity

    But there are probly more.

If your cable box has SVGA output then you could use a KVM switch to move between the 2 SVGA sources.

Any help? Maybe I dont understand you correctly...

    Regards
