Does this mean your asking us about a crack?
You might wanna read the forum rules, if the answer to that question is yes.

first read the forum rules and don't discuss pirated material.

second, DON'T USE NORTON as it is absolutely horrible against virus protection and uses way too much CPU and resources. instead use AVG Free...its free and much better. as soon as I installed it (after uninstalling norton) it found 7 viruses, 2 were trojans! and for firewall use zone alarm, also free...and thats all you need right there. oh and of course adaware for spy and adware

Norton standard editions are horrible (including professional). Way too much eye candy. I've got Symantec Corporate, legally of course. Much better, and absolutely no eye candy. Takes about 12Mb of ram and protects against ad-aware, spy-ware as well as normal protection. It is very good at doing its job!!

The serial code that you have is <b>not</b> the activation key. The activation code should be somewhere on the box or cd case. If not, it may be an activation sort of like Maya. In that case you would have to register online and wait for your activation key via e-mail. If you are using a pirated edition, do not bother using Norton because you will get in serious trouble. You cannot activate it unless if you have your unique activation key as well as your unique serial number.

Usually you have to enter the serial. Then you will have to enter your activation key. They are different.

you said a mouth full there discoop norton is the worst program i have EVER used

but if the key code wont work its not going to work period , i had norton crash on me twice in a month then the key code wouldnt work to reactivate it . i spent hours on the phone with tech. support to find out it was NEVER going to work again.i was so mad i could spit

so i downloaded AVG and found several vires too that norton never got . But ended up getting Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2005 and have been very happy with it
