My sound sync proplems disapperd when I used tmpgenc V2.5.741.146 with mpeg2,not mpeg1.
You can fit the movie on the CD-R by reducing the size which can fit on the CD-R.
When the DIVX doesn't give sound make a WAV file with virtualdub (last) and combine it in tmpgenc and make a mpeg2.
With some divx movies tmpgenc gives a error, but the movie still works !
I use virtualdub for sound. not video with divx.
some divx movies have audio in the right format so you have to do nothing !
    test, test, testing !

install the codecs from divx(3,4,5) and you lose a step (many hours...)

a tip, use a CD-RW to test the stuff !!

    Skol!
