Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow and Dark Mirror.

What do you folks think about them 2 Syphon Filter games?

I think they're purty good, better graphics on Logan's Shadow, though. The thing i hate is that they changed a lot the Classic control on LS, since they put the square as the swim button, couldn't they just make the analog stick to move the guy on the water as it does on land?.

I was pretty much used to strafe with square and circle button, and now i have to hold the L button to do so, what a hassle. This makes the player to be less agile than in Dark Mirror, but I think it's just a matter of getting used to the new control, as I played Dark Mirror a lot and got very used to its controls.

What's up with the story? I bought the game and in 2 days I finished it, finding out that Logan gets shot to death by the Chinese girl (Trinidad) when he tried to defend Lian. Will it be the end for the Syphon Filter saga? Darn... I need to find all them hidden evidences to reveal this thing...

I havn't been following the games particularly so i don't care much...

They're not bad games, but shooters are much more suited to PC/X360/PS3

what???Logan got shot??i didnt play until the end coz its boring to me.anyway,the endings good i think and maybe a new hero will come out to replace logan.

 

Although Syphon Filter is a shooter it makes exceptions brecause this game is really good.

 

if u plug u slim psp to tv and play Syphon Filter Logan's Shadow and Dark Mirror..u can enjoy too much the graphics and sound

Hey man, I hadn't beat the game entirely, I found it too difficult as the hidden evidences have to be found all before finishing or exiting the mission. I've spotted some secret areas that I haven't been able to reach. So probably you're right, maybe the game ends differently, but the game I beat entirely was the Dark mirror and 100%completing the game didn't change the game storyline at all and I think it's the same thing with Logan's shadow, but anything can happen.

The ending that I told about was Logan getting shot by Trinidad. That ending can be seen if you beat the game (or play the last mission) and wait until the credits end, then you'll see the video of Logan getting shot. I checked out the credits because the same thing happened to me when I played Dark Mirror. I found the ending too poor and then I saw all the credits just for curiosity and then found out the secret ending video. As per the previous experience, I waited for the credits to end on Logan's Shadow and then found out the video. Check it out, maybe you just think the game ends with the death of Lian's husband.

 

Wow! A secret ending?? Sorry, I didn't spend time reading all that you wrote, but tell me more simple. How to find the secret ending?

The ending I saw, was the suicide of Lian's boifriend
