    Hello purky,

    Download SmitfraudFix.zip to the desktop from here.
    * Extract the files to the desktop.
    * Open the newly created folder SmitfaudFix.
    * Double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
    * Select 1 and hit Enter to create a report of the infected files. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt.

    [bold]Note[/bold]: Please do not run other options unless asked to.

    Download HijackThis from here.
    Create a folder in C:\ named HjT.
    Extract HijackThis to the new folder.
    Open HijackThis.exe and click "Do a system scan and save a log file".

    Post back with the contents of rapport.txt and a new HijackThis log.

    @purky, did you extract the files from the .zip file to the desktop? A folder will be created(SmitfraudFix)

    @mccrackin, post your HijackThis log and the SmitfraudFix log in your own thread.

    I also have been infected with Trojan-Spy.Win32@mx tonight and have been up for about 9 hours trying to figure it out.

    I took the advice given earlier and installed and ran Smidfraudfix and Hijackthis. I have both logs and REALLY need to get this fixed, I don't want to go to bed until it's done. Hijackthis told me it could fusk up my computer fixing it if I don't know what I"m doing so please god help me!!!!!!!

    smid rapport

    and here's the one from hijackthis

    ok so I don't get what I'm supposed to do now
