Guys I'm in desperate need of help. Lately my system has been shutting down randomly, don't knwo why. The only times it always turns off no matter what, is when I'm in the process of burning a DVD or while I play my lastest game, FIFA World Cup Soccer 2006. I'm guessing my system is overheating buy I dont know why. I have three fans and a cpu fan designed for my AMD Athlon XP 2900+. Any ideas or helpful hints would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all in advance.

You'll probably have to find the error code (BSOD). To do that, right click My Computer, Properties. Click on the Advanced tab, click the Settings button under Startup and Recovery. Under System Failure, uncheck Automatically Restart.

The next time it goes to shutdown, you should get a blue screen with an error code.

Another way to find the error, if they are being logged, is to go to your Event Viewer and look in either System or Applications.
